Scott Murray was our keynote speaker at the 2009 event, regaling guests with his stories of 30 years as a sports anchor and broadcast journalist. While serving as live autioneer, he got caught up in the mission and excitement -- and donated Texas Motor Speedway tickets & pit passes "on the spot" as a last minute auction item. He hosted a book signing for NorthStar Bank of Texas as the event's Silver Underwriter.

The Ann Windle Volunteer Award recognizes an outstanding volunteer whose work in support of children and families exemplified Dr. Windle's life's work. In her words, "...Only by coordinating services and reaching out to families can these services effectively change and improve the lives of families and of future generations."
