SCHOOL CLUBS
Many Delaware schools require students to perform a certain amount of service hours as part of the graduation requirement. This requirement is embraced, not only in the education field, whereby many universities/colleges seek applicants who are involved in community volunteerism, but also by many Delaware businesses that reward their employees for outstanding service to the community.
A Blue-Gold Club within your school would promote the understanding and acceptance of diversity among students with and without intellectual disABILITIES on an even deeper level within your school community. Blue-Gold Clubs can also bring school spirit into the hallways and classrooms when you have a diverse group of students contributing their energies toward a common cause!
Starting a Blue-Gold Club is also an opportunity for the students in your school to show leadership in a positive venue.
